Catch #SHSU Film Major DAVID RIOS AKA DOG FOSSIL performing his all-original LIVE MUSIC on each Friday night at CAT CAFE from 6 - 8 PM.
Rios will be featuring highlights from SIX #selfproducedmusic albums, giving listeners a taste of the next three collections he has in store. Classically trained and influenced by Del Water Gap since the beginning, you really have to come listen to understand the range and complexity of his music. It's a bit like floating on a cloud, or remembering the traces of a dream. But just the good parts.
His production style alone is something to be studied, purposely distorting certain elements to yield new sounds he simply describes as LOW FI ROCK.
From electronic ambient to acoustic guitar, with a lot of cool audio tricks in between, this new artist on the Huntsville music scene is someone you'll want to hear as he evolves.
